Would you want to be a king
If you could
And why
Would you be benevolent
Or just another tyrant
What makes you think
You would be righteous
With unchecked power
Maybe you’d go down in infamy
Maybe you’d be stabbed
By someone close to you
That’s what they did to the emperors
You know
Would you free the slaves
Or yoke a few more
We are all philosophers
Until we are met with force
Then its easy
To turn into brutes quickly
Killing machines
Exterminators
Subjugators
Dominators
Controllers
Would you be a king
