Roles

 

God put me in the cast
So I played my role
It wasn’t the biggest
Or the smallest
Just mine

So I did what I had to do
I did the act
And said the lines
As best I could
But nobody seemed to listen

You choose the role you audition for
But you don’t always choose the role you get
Sometimes you get the one you wanted
Sometimes you get something else
But the show goes on, either way
Doesn’t it
