My 3rd Muay Thai Fight (January 19, 2014)

I remember going into this fight and thinking I was going to die.

I was still working full-time as a lawyer.

“Stressed” and ”burned out” don’t even begin to describe how I felt.

I felt like I was going to have a nervous breakdown.

I showed up on fight day thinking I was going to die, and I was ready for it.

But then something happened.

I flipped the script from ”I’m going to die.” to ”He’s going to die.”

From ”I’m fucked.  I have to fight him.” to ”He’s fucked.  He has to fight me.”

That difference right there is all the difference in the world.

It’s the difference between winning and losing.

It’s the difference between dying and surviving.

If you feel like you’re losing a battle in your life right now, flip the script.

You are not fucked because you have to face some problem.  The problem is fucked because it has to face you.

Believe in yourself.
