We Are Not The Same
A Meditation On Writing
I am a writer, first.
I write about what I want, when I want.
You can have your frameworks, ghostwriters, AI templates, and scheduled posts.
I’ll keep betting on my voice and my balls.
The rarer they are, the more valuable they become.
There’s a lot of courage involved in writing.
It often feels like staring into the abyss.
They say authenticity always wins.
I’m someone who’s going to find out.
I keep reading stories about people who finally got brave, and their first post went viral.
I can’t relate.
I’ve been doing this, son.
I could go on forever.
And I will.
The platforms and the tech are irrelevant to me.
They have nothing to do with what I do.
The medium is unimportant.
The message and the messenger are what matter.
Some write for algorithms.
I write for myself.
We are not playing the same game.
