Things Fall Apart

Things fall apart
That were once so beautiful
That it hurts to look back

But they had to fall apart
So something better
Could be built in their place

And if you focus only on the possibilities
Then it is a good thing
That things fell apart

Despair only comes
When you focus on what was lost
What was once so beautiful
That it hurts to look back
Like looking too close to the sun
