All-Time Cure For Writer’s Block

Have writer’s block?

No, you don’t. Use this trick and never have writer’s block again:

Sit down with a pen and paper and write for 20 minutes — pure stream of consciousness.

Whatever thoughts come into your head, write them down.

Nothing is too ridiculous or off-limits.

Notice recurring thoughts and themes.

Expand on them.

Writer’s block solved.

If you can think, you can write.

Thoughts are always coming into your mind naturally.

Just write them down.

And expand on the recurring thoughts.

Writing is often a process of discovery.

Writing stream of consciousness allows you to discover new thoughts and go deeper into interesting ones.
