Black – Pearl Jam

Hearing myself sing this song makes me appreciate how good of a vocalist Eddie Vedder is.  Pearl Jam‘s Ten album was one of the first CDs I owned as a kid.  I used to love Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, and all those 90’s grunge bands.  I still do love them.  They had a profound influence on me and shaped my musical tastes.

Some of my favorite Pearl Jam songs are Alive, Even Flow, Better Man, and Yellow Ledbetter.  I also love the song Hard Sun, which is by Eddie Vedder – not including the rest of Pearl Jam.  That song was off the original soundtrack of Into the Wild, which is one of favorite books and favorite movies.  I highly recommend both the book and the movie.
